Keep refrigerated at 40°F or below until cooking or serving. This applies to every product. Bratwurst and Italian sausage: No cure added. Do not slow-smoke or cold-smoke. Cook hot (grill, pan-fry, or oven) to 160°F internal.

Catering is taxed as prepared food at 7.65% (Francis, UT rate); your quote will include it.

## Sales tax
Utah grocery food sales tax (3%): 3.0% of the item subtotal (1.75% state + 1.0% local + 0.25% county; Utah State Tax Commission chart effective Oct 1, 2026). Delivery is not taxed; the delivery fee is a separate line. Catering is taxed as prepared food at 7.65% (Francis, UT rate); your quote will include it.

## The TK's Shop (coming soon)

Status: coming soon; no products, prices or ordering yet (`shop` in products.json). Shop items are planned to ship nationwide through regular e-commerce, unlike the meats, which are local delivery only to the four Utah counties above. - Required in every order: items (product or box, size, quantity; by-the-lb items in pounds), delivery county (one of the four above), customer name, phone number, and delivery address. Notes are optional.
- Total = item subtotal + county delivery fee + Utah grocery food sales tax (3%) on the subtotal (delivery is not taxed). By-the-pound items are charged by actual weight, so the total is an estimate until weighed and the final total may vary. We confirm by text and send a secure payment link, then deliver.
- Orders are accepted only for addresses in Utah County, Salt Lake County, Wasatch County, or Summit County, Utah.
- An ordering API for agents is planned. Until then, do not attempt to place orders programmatically.
